Prof. Dr. Güralp Onur Ceyhan

In 2002, Prof. Dr. Güralp Onur Ceyhan graduated from Westfälische Wilhelms University Faculty of Medicine and continued his studies at Heidelberg University European Pancreas Centre, Department of Pancreatic Molecular Biology and Surgery. Between 2007-2018, he worked in the Department of General Surgery at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, where he was the head of the Pancreas Research Centre. Since 2014, he has worked as Head of the Department of Pancreas-, Liver- and Biliary Tract Surgery and also as Deputy Head of the entire Department of General Surgery. Prof. Dr. Güralp Onur Ceyhan returned to Turkey in 2019 and since then he has been working both as a surgeon at Acıbadem Healthcare Group and at the Pancreatic Cancer Research Centre he founded at Acıbadem University. Prof. Dr. Güralp Onur Ceyhan was elected as the President of the European Pancreatic Club (EPC- European Pancreatic Association) for the year 2025-2027.
